Mean = sum of observation/ no. of observation
ReplyDelete(1+7+5+3+4+4)/6 = m
24/6 = m
m = 4
(3+2+4+2+3+3+p)/7 = m - 1
Putting m = 4 (below)
(17 + p)/7 = 4 - 1
17 + p = 3 x 7
p + 17 = 21
p= 4
arranging data in increasing order........
2,2,3,3,3,4,4 n = 7
Median = 3 {(n+1)/2}
1+7+5+3+4+4 /6 = 24/6 = 4 => m
ReplyDelete3+2+4+2+3+3+p/7 = m-1
17+p/7= 4-1=3
17+p= 21
p=4
for median , data ko tameez m lana
2,2,3,3,3,4,4
n=7 as n is odd
median = n+1/2 = 3rd
so, median = 3
n+1/2
Delete=7+1/2
=8/2
=4th observation
=> 3
(1+7+5+3+4+4)/6=4=m
ReplyDeleteTHEREFORE, m=4
(3+2+4+2+3+3+p)/7=m-1
(17+p)/7=3
17+p=21
p=4
ARRANGING THE DATA IN INCREASING ORDER
WE GET
2,2,3,3,3,4,4
median=(7+1)/2
=4=3RD
THEREFORE,MEDIAN=3
AND THEREFORE,
p=4
q=3
