Questions 1.  The result of dividing a two-digit number by reversing the order of digits is 5/6. If the difference of digits is unity. Find the number.

    Let digit at ten's place = y
    original no. = 10y+x
    reversed no. = 10x+y
    10y+x/10x+y = 5/6
    or 60y +6x = 50x +5y
    or -44x +55y = 0 ......(1)
    difference of digits = 1
    x - y = 1 ......(2) { x > y from (1) }
    by elimination from (1) and (2),
    y = 4
    x = 5
    original no. = 10y +x = 10(4) +5 = 45
    therefore, the number is 45.

    => digits = 4 & 5

    (10y+x)/(10x+y)=5/6........(1)
    x-y =1......(2)
    by elemenating 1 and 2
    x=5 and y=4
    no.=45
