Questions 7.  The median class of a frequency distribution 120 - 140. The frequency and the cumulative frequency of the class preceding the median class are 20 and 22 respectively. Find the sum of the frequencies, if the median of the above data is 127.

    7 =n/2-22
    29 =n/2
    n =58

    cf0= 22
    f=20
    l=120
    h=20
    Me= l + (N/2 - cf0)/f x h
    127= 120 + (N/2 - 22)/20 x 20
    127= 120 + N/2 - 22
    7 = N/2- 22
    29 = N/2
    N = 58
    SUM OF FREQUENCIES = 58
